For the next edition of his bootleg banditry, Leeds based producer and DJ Felix CW doesn't hold back. A two-track acid house melter to get even the sturdiest of feet wiggling on the dance floor.

Following the previous edition of the aptly named Club Dubz series, Club Duz volume 2 sets the scene sampling Ralph Rosario's house anthem 'You used to hold me' on the A side, 'Hold me'. Reverberated open hi's and rolling vocal loops give the track its momentum. But its the classic stab of piano house keys and an acid house infused bassline that really bless 'Hold me' with a hypnotic quality. As subtle strings hold the elements in place, Felix manages to take the listener on a journey of all things house while keeping the ears locked. One for the headphones and for the rig.
Yet, this simply wasn't enough. When flipped to the B side, we uncovered 'Funky', a beautifully dark rework of Mike Dunn's timeless classic, 'god made me phunky'. One eerie note takes the track down into an unnerving sound before the punchy acid house groove takes control, setting the course for what's to follow. Gradually building elements give the track an almost minimalist quality, accompanied by occasionally panning droplets and the intermittent interjection of "god made me phunky baby".
